Bowling enthusiasts are encouraged to register a team for the event. Great prizes will be awarded for hidden mystery scores, team scores, individual scores, and most pledges. Corporations and individuals who wish to support the event can sponsor lanes and donate prizes for the raffle. As participants, your team of minimum four players (maximum of six) can enjoy a night of great bowling, good music, munchies and lots of laughs.

Elmer Safety Recognition Awards TBA

Each year, the Peel Children's Safety Village recognizes students within the Region of Peel, who have assisted their classmates, parents, friends, and performed at a level that is beyond expectations. Children should be recognized for heroic behaviour, good citizenship, or an outstanding safety deed, while contributing to a safer community. Each child in Peel Region, including Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon from junior kindergarten through to grade eight is eligible for an award.

If you know of a student who is deserving, please nominate them.

We would like to thank last year’s sponsors:

  • Lions Club of Bramalea
  • Kiwanis Club of Brampton
  • The Regional Municipality of Peel Police Services Board
  • Hydro One Networks Inc.
  • Enersource Corporation
  • 12 Division Police Community Liaison Committee
  • Atlantic Auto Body
June Open House

Peel Children's Safety Village Open House
To Be Announced

Summer is a great time for kids and they love to be active. Our partnership in cooperation with the national Safe Kids week campaign, wants parents to be able to prevent some of those serious injuries that can happen to kids during the summer months.

Children will have the opportunity to receive instruction on the "rules of the road", have their bicycle helmets fitted properly by a Public Health Nurse, and have their bicycles checked by a Police Officer. Children will also have the opportunity to take to the "Safety Village" streets, to practice riding safely.

Annual Golf Tournament

Golf Tournament 2011 -
To be announced

One of the Safety Village's main fundraising events, the Annual Golf Tournament. Monies raised through the tournament go directly to the operation of the Safety Village and its programs and ensures continued safety education to over 17,000 elementary school children annually.
